Claudia Rondelli


Claudia Rondelli, brilliantly graduated in piano from the Istituto Musicale "O.Vecchi" in Modena. She continued her piano and chamber music studies with various teachers, including E. Pastorino, C. Butzberger (Accademia Musicale di Firenze), P.N. Masi (Accademia Pianistica di Imola) R. Szidon, A. Lonquich, C. Eschenbach and J. Frantz (Hochschule di Amburgo), together with her composition studies (Compimento inferiore) with C. De Pirro. She deepened her chamber vocal repertoire with Mo E. Werba and E. Battaglia and graduated in Vocal Chamber Music with the highest marks and honours at the Conservatorio 'F.Venezze' in Rovigo. In the same city she obtained her 2nd Level Academic Diploma in Musical Disciplines, Chamber Music course (110/110 cum laude). She has also participated in Masterclasses held by D. Fischer-Dieskau, C. Ludwig, W. Moore and I. Gage. A prize-winner in numerous piano and chamber music competitions, she carries out artistic activities with singers and in various chamber music ensembles in numerous festivals in Italian cities and abroad, always gaining critical acclaim, in particular for the care of the sound. Among the most important are Bologna (Feste Musicali), Sagra Musicale Umbra, Mantua-Teatro Bibiena, Milan, Festival Mozart in Rovereto, Perugia, Accademia Filarmonica (Rome), Siracusa and Caltanissetta, Salzburg-Aspekte Festival at Salzburger Museum Carolino Augusteum, Klagenfurt, Bern and Basel, Munich, Hamburg, Wolfsburg, Banska Bistrica (Czech Republic), Stockholm, Vigo and Malaga (Spain), Nicosia (Cyprus), Tokyo, Puerto Vallarta (Mexico). Interested in contemporary music, she has performed pieces by important Italian and foreign composers, participating in international projects and festivals. As a collaborating maestro and harpsichord player, she is commissioned at important institutions, theatres, master classes, competitions and auditions and has made several recordings. She has collaborated in concerts and Masterclasses with renowned artists such as Chris Merritt, Marcello Lippi, Leo Nucci, Giacomo Prestia, Carlo Colombara, Francesca Provvisionato, Sonia Ganassi, Leone Magiera and Elizabeth Vidal. Passionate about vocality, sound and the choral world, she deepened her knowledge of it by taking part in various courses and workshops (Alpe Adria Cantat-Feniarco, Vecchi-Tonelli Music Institute, Ass.corale Citta' di Parma, Accademia Esztergom etc.) held by professors Giovanni Torre, Gianni Guicciardi (polyphony) Robert Ray, Andre' Thomas, Jeffrey Ames, Bob Singleton (spiritual and gospel repertoire), Ana Maria Raga (Spanish repertoire), Stephanie Miceli (vocal-pop-jazz), Accademia Esztergom (Kodaly Method-Hungary), N. Conci, B. Gini, M. Lanaro, Roberta Paraninfo, T. Visioli, LABschool-teachers various-Feniarco (treble voices). From 1994 to 2007 he directed the children's choir "ARCOBALENO" (Modena), present at various events, with which he recorded the CD "5 favole x 5 canzoni" (1999) and took part in the production of "IL PICCOLO SPAZZACAMINO" (Modena Municipal Theatre 1996). - directed from 1996 to 2001 the YOUTH CHOIR at the LICEO MURATORI (Modena). with which he tackled various repertoires and styles for mainly popular and educational purposes. The experience was particularly significant in various events, in the production of Offenbach's opera LA BELLE HELENE (Teatro Storchi-MO) and in the participation in the Rai Educational project on G.Verdi's opera AIDA at the PalaEur in Rome. -Since 2007, he has been conducting the "GIRASOLE" Children's Choir with which he performs in concerts, festivals and exhibitions. The choir won second and first prizes (100/100) in 2012 and 2013 at the 'UN PO' DI NOTE' competition (Occhiobello -RO); also, in 2013, it won first prize at the INSIEME PER SUONARE, CANTARE E DANZARE competition (Omegna- Verbania). In 2014, on the occasion of Remembrance Day, it took part in the production BRUNDIBAR by H.Krasa (Teatro Storchi-MO, Teatro Troisi-Nonantola,-MO). In 2017, it was a working choir on the occasion of the course for conductors organised by Aerco. In 2019, on the occasion of the CORIAMO event, she received the recognition and the Award presented by the Aerco-MO delegation, for the enhancement of children's vocality: among the various projects. in 2015 she organised the twinning with the Coral Vallarda of Valencia and started from the Rassegna di cori di voci bianche in Modena 'FRIENDS WILL BE FRIENDS', now customary. She was the director of the gospel choir 'SERIAL SINGERS' of Modena from 2000 to 2011 with which she participated in numerous events and productions including 'THE VIOLINIST ON THE ROOF' by J.Book and J. Williams and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR (Teatro Storchi-Modena and Rimini) and choral competitions, always earning prizes and awards: of particular note are the second prize at the RONCADE (TV) competition in 2005, first prize at the VENEZIA GOSPEL FESTIVAL competition in 2008 and finalist at the TIM competition in 2009. Alongside her artistic activity as a pianist and choir conductor, she is also involved in teaching and musicology: she contributed to the publication of "I Lieder di J.Brahms" and "Poesia e musica nella Francia di fine Ottocento" (Ed.UNICOPLI) following seminars held by MoG.Salvetti and is a graduate of DAMS. A competition winner, she teaches Piano Accompaniment at the Conservatorio "A.Boito" in Parma. She regularly holds master classes in Italy and abroad.
