Francesco Barbuto
Choir and orchestra conductor, composer, writer, musician, painter, editorial consultant and music teacher and educator, professional active in the choral and instrumental music field, vocal trainer and specialist in the correct use of the voice. He carries out an intense professional activity in the cultural and artistic musical and choral fields. He was President of the Regional Artistic Commission of the Union of Italian Choir Societies Lombardia (USCI) and director of the online music magazine ‘A più Voci’ from 2011 to 2015. He is still a Member of the Artistic Commission. He is editorial collaborator in charge of the Sonitus Edizioni Musicali e Discografiche of Varese. He is a member of the editorial staff of the musical magazine ‘FarCoro’ of the Emiliano Romagnola Cori Association (AERCO). He is an Honorary Citizen of Caronno Varesino, awarded the ‘Civic Seal’ for his commitment to Art, Culture and Music and for the excellent direction of the Choro Lauda Sion, which he himself trained. He is called as a jury member in national choral composition competitions and in juries and listening commissions for regional and provincial choral reviews, as well as for reviews for school choirs.
